Community Groups...
We believe that Community and life change happens best in small groups. At Hillside we have a community group that meets almost every night of the week. Groups meet at least twice a month. The purpose of a community group is to provide a predictable environment where people experience authentic community and spiritual growth. A community group consists of 10-12 people who meet together regularly for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and relationships. Our goal in each group is that they experience three things in a community group: accountability, belonging, and care. Groups study various items including topical book studies, books of the Bible, and discussing the most recent weekend sermon topic. Childcare is available at the church on Sunday night or you may get reimbursed for your childcare by having your community group leader sign a “childcare reimbursement form” and submitting it to the church office. college and career
If you are single between the ages of 18-24 and interested in getting plugged into our young adult ministry, please contact Jimmy Callahan at 817-614-7389 or pick up a card in the lobby. The group will be meeting every third Friday of the month at 6:30pm.
single adults
If you are single, with or without kids, and interested in getting plugged in with other Singles in our church, please contact Chuck Combs at 817-422-8024 or Shauna Russell at 817-919-0952.
"marriage on the rock"
Are you interested in growing your marriage? In the Fall, Hillside's marriage ministry will facilitate a 12 week small group using the dvd series from Pastor Jimmy Evans' teachings entitled "Marriage on the Rock". Pastor Jimmy Evans and his wife Karen are the founders of the ministry 
Marriage Today. Here is an excerpt from their website about the series: Society requires years of preparation for almost any significant career endeavor, but demands no real preparation for one of the most crucial undertakings in life: marriage. In an age of disposable marriage and information overload, where can couples turn for real answers that will make their relationships work? Only to God.
