Cuba

Proclaim Cuba is one of the newest mission partners for Hillside. In 1991, God spoke to the pastor of a very small rural church, Carlos Alamino and called him to plant churches, start a seminary, lead evangelistic crusades, and minister to the next generation of children and youth with the shared purpose of reaching Cuba for Christ. Now, over 30 years later, the vision of Proclaim Cuba remains strong. The ministry divisions include a seminary, church planting, pastoring pastors, children’s and youth ministries, women’s ministry, sports evangelism, intercessory prayer, an institute for the arts, and international missions. The mission is to reach Cuba and the nations for Christ; empowered by God, empowering others. Through our connection with Hillsider, Andrew Wischmeyer, we took our first trip in November 2022. In November 2023 Hillside took a trip to the city of Santiago de Cuba and connected with Pastor Yolesi and his wife, Cynthia and their church, The Great I Am. Annual trips are planned in the November timeframe to Santiago de Cuba to minister with Pastor Yolesi and Cynthia.  For more information, click here.
