What is Easter?
Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, Jesus was crucified on a Friday and rose from the dead three days later on Sunday. Christians celebrate Easter as the victory of life over death and the foundation of the hope found in Jesus.
For followers of Jesus, Easter is the most important event of the Christian faith. It reminds us that through Jesus’ death and resurrection, forgiveness, new life, and a restored relationship with God are possible for everyone.
At our church, Easter is a time to gather together, worship, and celebrate the hope and new life we have in Christ.
