- It was great having all of our missions partners with us this weekend! Hopefully you were able to connect with some of them at their tables. Discuss with the group any missions you've been on in the past and what your experience was like there.
- Do you feel God leading you to go on any of the mission trips this year? If so, where? Read Revelation 5:9-10 and notice how missions flows from the cross, by Jesus' blood ransoming his people. Since Revelation highlights Jesus as the faithful witness and the saints as a kingdom of priests, how does this prioritize our identity in Christ and his power at work in us before the actual activity?
- Pete used the analogy of being stuck at the street-level in a parade and being caught up in the mess. Where do you need to be swept up by the Spirit to a bird's-eye view of God's sovereignty over all missions?
- The real question is not whether the mission will succeed, but will we align ourselves with the work that God is doing. What would alignment with God look like for you individually and as a group right now?
- Has your group found a missional identity yet? Is there something that the community would miss if your group ceased to exist?
