The Bible: Ultimate Reality
Notes
- What stood out to you most about today's message? Were there any questions it brought up that you wanted to discuss more?
- Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17. What difference does it make to you that Scripture carries God’s own breath, life, and authority, not just ancient wisdom? How might embracing that truth change the way you read it?
- How do you typically approach the Bible? Do you typically approach it more as information, inspiration, obligation, or as a way to meet with God? And how might rethinking your approach change your experience?
- Read 2 Corinthians 4:16-18. If you were to examine your last week, what would it reveal that you are really looking at, whether temporal things or eternal things? How might that focus be shaping your emotions, decisions, and priorities?
- What does it practically look like to “fix your eyes” on what is unseen? How do you personally cultivate a way of seeing spiritual reality as more real than the physical?
- Read Psalms 119:103-104. Where have you tasted that “sweetness” of God's word recently? How do you develop a sweet tooth for God's word?
